Treny Market Grand Opening – Thank You Doncaster
Last Saturday we officially opened Treny Market, your new home for authentic Afro-Caribbean groceries, fresh produce, spices, meat and fish, drinks, and household essentials. From the ribbon cutting to the final basket at checkout, the support and excitement from the community were incredible. We are truly grateful to everyone who joined us.
The day was filled with activities that made it special. We started with a ribbon cutting and welcome speeches, followed by a tasting table where guests enjoyed puff-puff, plantain chips, sorrel drink, and suya spice dips. Shoppers took advantage of our opening day offers on rice, spices, and beverages, while families and friends shared in the celebration. We even had a small kids corner with fruit cups and activities that added to the joyful atmosphere.
Inside the store, visitors explored our wide range of products. Our fresh produce section includes yam, plantain, okra, scotch bonnet, and spinach. Pantry essentials such as garri, fufu, semolina, egusi, ogbono, jerk seasoning, and jollof spice are always available. We also provide meat and fish, including fresh, frozen, and halal options. The drinks and beverages aisle features favourites like Malta Guinness, Maltina, Ting, ginger beer, Chivita, sorrel, and coconut water. Our health and beauty section includes African black soap, raw shea butter, Jamaican black castor oil, and natural oils. For those with special diets we stock vegan and vegetarian products, gluten free flours, dairy free milks, and organic options.
